Bio:

Chris Rowe was born in the north Wilmington neighborhood of Gwinhurst. Second born in a family of four children, Chris seemed to have a personality that attracted people. His father worked for Allied Kid, a leather tanning company located in downtown Wilmington. His mother was a stay-at-home Mom involved heavily in church activities. Chris' education began at Holy Rosary Parochial School in Claymont where he truly enjoyed his educational experiences. While at this age he became interested in playing baseball and football and did well in both. He continued his education at Mount Pleasant High School from '73-'77 and continued his athletic activities on the fields at MTP. He was voted All-Conference Flight "A" Defensive Tackle for the 1975 football season. He is also the recipient of the Charles H. Bomboy Memorial Award given to MTP athletes exhibiting sportsmanship.

Upon Chris' graduation from Mount Pleasant High, he entered the U.S. Navy and became educated as an Electronic Warfare Technician. Chris traveled the Atlantic, North Atlantic and Mediterranean regions during his tour of duty. Upon his return from the Mediterranean, he married his high school sweetheart, Karen. At the end of his time in the service, Karen gave birth to the first of two children, their daughter, Elise. Chris continued to work in the defense industry for 17 years during which time his son, Chris, Jr., was born.

Chris' skills in sales began to develop during the late 80's and early 90's where he sold life insurance and investments and recruited for a national agency. The Rowe family ran in to some rough times in the mid 90's when Chris was laid off from his 14-year job with GE. Although not having yet found the "right" vehicle, Chris realized that he could not achieve his dream of financial independence as long as he was limited by a paycheck. It was at this time he sought opportunity. Chris returned to the defense industry and entered the world of politics for a short period, running for the Delaware State Senate in 1996.

After 2 years back in the defense industry, a friend offered him an opportunity to work part-time with a mortgage brokerage, selling refinances. It was here Chris began to thrive, realizing this was an opportunity to leave corporate America and create his own income.

It was from here Chris began to make his mark in Delaware's real estate industry. Within the next 18 months, Chris' loan production had him earning a six-figure income. Chris wished to share this knowledge and, with the help of Clare Crossan, ACA Mortgage President, they have built what is Delaware's Largest Volume Mortgage brokerage, ACA Mortgage Co., LLC. Chris has developed ACA University, which educates, informs and motivates the ACA sales team to continue to improve in sales and personally.

Chris is a certified instructor for credited courses for the members of DAR and has enjoyed sharing his knowledge and the positive responses he has received from the attendees. Chris has presented these courses from the years 2003 through 2006.
