What is GRI?
The Graduate REALTOR®
Institute (GRI) designation is a professional development training program for
residential real estate professionals interested in increasing their knowledge
and business skills in the fundamentals of real estate practice. The GRI is offered in a flexible format
consisting of six two-day courses.
Candidates must completed all six required courses for a total of 90
curriculum hours.
The GRI designation is only
available to licensed agents who are members of the REALTOR® organization, thus
making it a prestigious industry achievement for those who acquire it, not to
mention an important business referral tool.
The GRI is the only REALTOR®
designation that does not require a payment of an annual renewal fee and is
administered by the State Association.
Why GRI?
A GRI designation holder
typically earns 40% more annually than REALTORS® not holding the designation.
19% of all REALTORS® have
earned the GRI.
The Graduate REALTOR®
Institute (GRI) designation indicates to buyers, sellers and other real estate
industry professionals that you have made the commitment to provide a high
level of professional services to your clients by securing a strong educational
foundation.
The GRI program expands your
network of real estate professionals through course contacts and generates more
leads and referrals across the nation.
Only those REALTORS® who
successfully complete the GRI program have the privilege of joining the
prestigious group of REALTOR® Institute graduates.
Credit Hours
GRI courses are applicable to
the Delaware Real Estate Commission’s annual continuing education
requirements. Each module offers 15
